I really feel like this poor girl kinda got screwed by American idol for the sake of entertainment, and made it all about her dad. Auditioning for American idol is VERY frustrating. They went through at least 5 auditions over a period of time to get to Katy and Luke and Lionel. It's a lot of waiting. Alot of driving around and it's on your dollar so I see his frustration. It's not right to make him look like he's a big a$$hole like you guys did. I auditioned for American idol 2 many years ago. Drove 8 hours to Los Angeles, camped out there for 2 nights..got my tag at around 8 a.m. Didn't even get to audition until almost 7 pm. The audition was maybe 20 seconds, then I got cut. ALL that for 20 seconds. It would have been worse to get through to the judges though and THEN get cut. So I see his frustration. I think she should have made it through. She's really good. I think she should have sang acapella. She has a very nice voice. They put Christian through and her voice isn't even half as strong as this girl's voice. GREAT ATTITUDE DANNICA! I HOPE TO SEE YOU COME BACK TO AMERICAN IDOL OR ONE OF THE OTHER SHOWS. 😘 Maybe leave your dad out of the audition so you can be your own voice though ok? (No offense, sir).

The best of the bunch so far. The one I would buy an album from. The one I would pay to see a live performance. Have listened to this rendition of the song countless times and don’t tire of it. Better than the original by far. She is terrific and going on to even a higher level of greatness.
